Kirsty Moffat is a 24 year old Graphic Designer from Clydebank, Scotland. After spending three years studying Graphic Design at The Glasgow Metropolitan College Kirsty joined SPD Print Solutions as a Junior Designer.
After a year Kirsty changed her job title to Digital, Production, Design which involved art-working, digital printing as well as working on the operational side raising jobs, creating quotes and dealing with deliveries and collations.
She loves photography and music and often takes her camera along to music
events. At college Kirsty loved to promote and organise gigs in and around Glasgow with local bands. This gave her a perfect chance to start her Graphic Design career, creating posters and tickets for the event. It also gave her a chance to organise events and raise awareness for various charities such as The Neurological Ward in York Hill, Cash for Kids and The British Heart Foundation.
As a lover of animals and the environment Kirsty became involved with supporting and volunteering to help out the Ian Somerhalder Foundation. The foundation not only gave her a chance to support a great cause but also made her think about ways to help within the design and print industries.
Kirsty is now working on building her career as a freelance Graphic Designer as well as raising awareness for the IS Foundation and environmentally friendly design and print.
